KLM selects Satriun Group for Oracle Essbase replacement study
AMSTERDAM, 18 October 2017
KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, the flag carrier airline of the Netherlands with a fleet of over 200 aircraft, selects Satriun Group to act as its advisor for the replacement of its Oracle Essbase planning system. The engagement involves assessing the ‘as is’ situation of existing forecasting and budgeting processes and architecture, and blueprinting the ‘to be’ situation, considering KLM’s ambition to modernize its financial planning process in light of its digitization roadmap. The engagement furthermore includes advisory for the selection of the appropriate EPM technology.
“We carefully reviewed the various proposals and presentations,” says Kees van Schaick, Director Planning & Reporting at KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, “and Satriun Group stood out in convincing us they would provide us an inspirational and successful collaboration in our journey to replace Oracle Essbase and modernize our financial planning process.”
Casper van Leeuwen, Partner at Satriun Group, comments: “We are delighted that KLM recognizes our unique ability to effectively combine the skills to cover the entire landscape of financial management, EPM technology, and change management, providing KLM with the expertise and ability to execute on this interesting engagement. We very much look forward to working with the KLM team.”
The engagement with KLM is expected to take approximately three months from initiation up to delivery and sign off.
