Fugro selects Satriun Group to implement IFRS16 on CCH Tagetik
AMSTERDAM, 19 June 2018
Fugro, the world’s leading, independent provider of geo-intelligence and asset integrity solutions for large constructions, infrastructure and natural resources, selects Satriun Group to act as its advisor for the implementation of IFRS16 using the CCH Tagetik IFRS16 Starter Kit after reviewing and assessing a number of different IFRS 16 solutions and advisors. The engagement involves support on the design of the required IFRS16 accounts for income statement, balance sheet, and balance sheet movements, and configuration of the CCH Tagetik IFRS16 Starter Kit to produce the desired posting rules and IFRS16 impact. In addition, support is provided for the preparation of end-user training materials and the end-user training itself.
Fugro found that Satriun Group had the best fit to its requirement to work with an advisor who has an established track record with IFRS16, who understands the accounting implications and who is also able to deliver the Fugro-specific configuration within the CCH Tagetik solution.
Casper van Leeuwen, Partner at Satriun Group, comments: “It is a great win for us that a respected company such as Fugro recognizes our ability to deliver both functional accounting and reporting advisory as well as the technical delivery thereof in CCH Tagetik. With over a year of IFRS16 experience below our belt we believe to be very much capable to deliver added value to the Fugro project team.”
The engagement with Fugro is expected to run for the rest of the year.
